New Look, Same Old Gourmet

Over the past several months, we have been working tirelessly to update our online presence, mainly our website & e-store. As we moved through these projects, there was this little voice we kept hearing saying that our logo didn’t quite fit in with who we are today. After much thought and discussion, we decided to update our logo. It was not a decision we took lightly, as we know that a logo is how people first recall your brand and changing it can change how you are viewed. There are many well documented cases of a logo refresh not working out well for companies and we wanted to ensure that we didn’t end up in that group!

We feel that the logo we have decided upon is a proper reflection of who we are today.  The streamlined look speaks to how easy it is to be our customer as well as use our equipment. The colour scheme ties in closely to our previous logo, keeping us close to our roots. The bean is my favourite part of the new logo. It is coffee in its simplest form and, regardless of how you brew, that is where it all begins. The bean is a living entity, reminding us to look after the people and land that produce this essential part of our business. And to remember that Gourmet is a living entity too, that needs to keep evolving and changing to ensure that we are looking after you, our customers.

We hope that you like our new look as much as we do. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this refresh as well as those for our website and estores for your home & workplace.
