What started as a local mom and pop coffee service in ’74 has grown into a full-service regional operation servicing thousands of customers across Manitoba and through affiliation, customers across Canada, thanks to a strong focus on product and service innovation, adapting to changing customer demands and adopting new industry trends. 1981

Gourmet was the first to introduce countertop, single cup fresh brewed coffee in Manitoba

1991

The first to introduce thermal brewing in Manitoba with electronic, inline, automatic brewers

1993

The first to introduce multi beverage single cup to this market (e.g. hot chocolate, espresso, mocha and mixes)

1994

Reintroduced full-service vending to the mix

1995

Revolutionized the traditional coffee service business model by moving away from "coffee kits" and tailoring products to what companies need

Began offering supplied water services to businesses

Began offering whole bean coffee for take home
